GAINING CONFIDENCE IN NUTRITION


"I've worked with McKinley and it's been nothing but education and helpful. I had finished breastfeeding my baby was in my last semester of college. I stopped eating and basically couldn't function. I had no energy and was well below my normal weight. McKinley worked with me to go from a deep deficit (1000 cals) to eating almost 2000 calories. I am now at a healthy weight and have all the energy in the world to keep up after my 18 month old. Eating food is now fun rather than something I hide from. McKinley knows what she's talking about and has the experience to really understand you and your nutrition goals. She's easy to approach and customizes your macros to your needs. The difference between these two photos is 7 months. My clothes fit better. I went from a size 11 after giving birth to a size 4! I haven't been a size 4 since before highschool. Clothes fitting better and the energy I have is something that has really helped me heal from the inside out!"

"Although it may be a few short months since starting with McKinley, I can say I am healthier and more knowledgable because of her help! I was at a very unhealthy, unmanageable caloric intake before her help and even though my goals may be to be aesthetically "smaller" the knowledge and reasoning I have gained through her guidance of reverse dieting trumps any quick fix at the cost of my hormones and metabolism. I didn't realize the effect of being in a caloric deficit for an extended period had on my body. I thought I needed to push harder, train more and continue to eat less. She has taught me to consider more aspects in life than just the time I put in between the gym walls. I no longer fear carbs and I actually learned to love foods that I thought were off limits or in very rare amounts. I have learned through McKinley's insight and knowledge to trust the process. There is no quick fix at least without harming my metabolism or hormone balance. I can't thank her enough regarding all the advice she's given me regarding stomach pain, cramps and bloating. These symptoms were daily occurrences but are far and few between now a days! If anyone wants to gain knowledge, work on finding the best nutrition program for themselves and only them; not what's popular or what works for someone else, then McKinley is your girl! She's lived in and experienced it!
